Hannalee, how does it feel to be a year old?

"Great! Life is just chill, dude!"

At one year Hannalee weighs in at 20 1/2 lbs and is 30 inches tall.

List of things our "big" girl can do now that she's a year old:
1. Binky free!! (She actually accomplished this all by herself at 9 months when she started teething.)

2. Bottle free!!!!!!! (The day after her birthday we gave her cows milk in a sippy and haven't used a bottle since. I thought this was going to be a lot harder because I used the bottle to put her to bed. But now we just read a story and then lay her in bed. She cries for a bit but then goes to sleep.)

3. Sleeping through the night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Finally! If she does wake up she is usually screaming at the top of her lungs and standing up. We just have to lay her back down, give her a kiss, and she goes back to sleep.)

4. She says Mama and Dada. (She used to say Mama when she was sad and Dada when she was happy, but now she says them to the right person.)

5. She barks when she sees the dog or a picture of a dog and when she hears the dog.

6. She can show you where her belly is and where her toes are.

7. She gives the best hugs. (She wraps her arms around my neck and pats me. She also like to give hugs to any thing soft and her baby doll.)

8. She can cruse around the furniture.

9. She loves to play "So Big", Patty Cake, and "Trot goes the horsey".

10. She can get into so much. (She loves opening doors and cupboards. She can now reach the second shelf in our pantry and I caught her drinking pancake syrup yesterday.)

(And she has a major attitude :0)
