Tayo's Blessing

Tayo was blessed on May 15. We decided to do his blessing at our house rather than at church. This made it nice for our family for many reasons; we were able to avoid cold germs, less pressure on Bob, more relaxed, and nicer for our less active family members.

I wanted Tayo to wear Bob's blessing outfit, but it wasn't the style I liked. Instead, Bob's mom made the blessing outfit. I love it and think he looks so handsome in it.

The day we did his blessing the wind was blowing hard (but I guess pretty typical for our neck of the woods).

But a perfect day to fly a kite. The men got to play "boys."
