Hannalee is doing great using the potty now. She tells us when she needs to go and has even gone a couple of times all by herself without even telling us. Sometimes when she gets too involved with her playing she will forget to go to the bathroom and all of a sudden she will cross her legs and start whimpering (her potty dance). Usually we can make it the bathroom in time.
Now that she is potty trained she likes to talk about it. Here are some of her favorite potty conversations:
When she sits on the potty she will whisper very quietly, "Pee pee coming."
When she's done and she has peed only she says, "No poop today. Just pee."
For a while after she had figured out how to poop in the potty she would stand up and say to her poop, "Hi poop." in the happiest, most excited way.
The other day I went in to use the bathroom and Hannalee followed. She then left the bathroom, shut the door and called to me, "Tell me when your done." (Something we do to her.)
