A very large family of Mennonites lived here and the garden area was huge! We only used about 1/8 of the area for our garden and the rest grew weeds up to our wastes.
So last year we got this bright idea to downsize our garden and plant the rest in grass. Brilliant, I know. So we marked off the area and put in a couple of railroad ties on the north west sides. Thinking we'd put in more railroad ties later. Then we planted grass.
It was wonderful!
