Hannalee's number one priority was seeing the geraffs. (Not sure why.) However, that was at the far end of the zoo. We had a few, OK, a lot of stopps before then. First the elephants. Tayo was in love! He was making his "I see and animal" noise at them the whole time. I had to pry his liitle fingers from the fence when we tured to leave.
I'm glad we stopped when we did because we got to see the baby elephant do tricks. It was so cute! And the mom elephant was watching over the fence the whole time.
Love these mesmorized face.
The arangatang was so fun to watch. This one walked around with this sheet wrapped around him like a human. Hannie thought he was silly.
Tayo and Bob mapped out our day.
Then Tayo let the way.
Remember this lion? Who doesn't want to drink some lion spit.
The ground hog holes are my favorite. That is the one thing I remember the most from going to the zoo in kindergarten. Unfortunatly there were no fuzzy little ground hogs, only blond headed ones.
We finally made it to the giraffs. Unfortuanaly they did not live up to the exciting standard Hannalee had in her mind.
What a fun day at the zoo.

We should plan a trip to the zoo when you're out here. The giraffe's are awesome! For $2 you can get 2 crackers or a piece of lettuce to feed them. :)
