Pumpkin Carving 2010

My family has a traditon of carving pumpkins and eating chili. This year it was at my brother, Bryan's house. Hannalee was so excited to go because he has chickens and she loves to see his chickens. Hannie will say, "Bryan's house. Pet chickens. Bok, bok."

We first enjoyed the chili that Meghan, Bryan's wife, made. Then Hannie and Meghan got to go put the chickens away while we set up.

Bob and Meghan chose to design their own pumpkins.


Bryan, my mom, and I used the patterns that you poke on and then carve out.



Hannalee colored hers with a pen and made daddy draw a kitty on it. She then used the poking tool to poke holes in the kitty. She found it quite entertaining.
