Easter, Spring, and the whole Thing!

I think spring is really here! (Watch me eat my words.) But the sun was shining warm, my flowers are out, and my peas are coming up. Even our apricot trees are in bloom! They are so pretty!

(Look at that mischievous face. She had purple all over her hands and face after tearing into that flower.)

Easter was a whole lot of fun this year. On Saturday my mom, brother, and his fiancée came up to our house. We did an Easter egg hunt where the boys hid the girls eggs and the girls hid the boys eggs. Whoever found their eggs first won and the others had to do the dishes. Lets just say that girls rule!!!

Then on Easter we spent the day with Bob's family. I decided we would play an egg game my friends family plays on Easter. Everyone was supposed to package a raw egg so it could still fit in a milk carton. Bob made an egg launcher. We were going to test to see whose egg would not get broken.

Well, on the very first launch Jimmy, Bob's little brother, jumped on the launcher and it snapped. It was hilarious. So we resorted to throwing the eggs. My broke first throw :( Bob's made it a long time until they decided to play baseball with it and it splattered all over him!

The ultimate winners were Bob's mom and two sisters. Way to go! Especially to Angie because we were all teasing her about her design.

Bob's family also has a tradition where they hide the Easter baskets. It was so fun! Hannalee got three stuffed bunnies for Easter. But her favorite was the "Puffs" in her basket from grandma Silver. She loves finger food.
