This is what her day looks like: 12:00 am feeding and 4:00 am feeding she just eats, gets a diaper change, eats some more than goes back to sleep. 7:30 am eats then stays up for an hour while we take Hannalee to school then takes a nap often in her car seat. She naps for about 2 hours. 11:00am feeding and playtime with Tayo (about 1 hour), then another 2 1/2 hour nap. She wakes up when Hannalee gets home from school at 3:30. The rest of the evening is hit and miss. She really needs a third nap and some nights she'll take it. Other nights she stays awake for nearly 5 hours! Bed time is any where between 7:00 and 8:30.
She is a wonderful napper and sleeper once she is asleep, but getting her there is no fun. Sarahlynn is not a snugly baby. She doesn't prefer to be rocked to sleep (which is probably my doing since I don't really enjoy rocking babies to sleep). So when she is acting tired I lay her down in her crib. Then she screams. And screams. Sometimes for 30 min. I do go in and console her, but she doesn't care. Sometimes I even try to hold her. She still screams. She just doesn't know how to sooth herself and calm herself down. But once she is tired of screaming, she's out. And she sleeps. The only time she doesn't cry herself to sleep is in the middle of the night. Hallelujah!
Sarahlynn has the cutest smiles. She loves to be on her changing table and will always give good smiles there.
Sarahlynn is still a pretty chill baby. She likes to sit in her bouncy chair and watch what is going on around her. When she is fed and not tired she rarely makes a peep. (Unless it is the "witching hours" aka 5:00 to 8:00. Then who knows what her personality might be. She might be happy go lucky or she might be fussy, whiny. Thank goodness daddy is home to help us out!)
We love our sweet Sarahlynn and are enjoying her so much!
