Hannalee's Kindergarten Celebration of Learning

At Hannalee's school they have "expeditions".  These are focuses that they work all year.  This year for kindergarten it is birds.  They have been learning a lot about birds and it is fun to hear Hannalee talk about it.  The other day we were driving home and she said, "I just saw a red winged black bird. (or black topped chickadee)"

So, for their celebration of learning groups of kindergartners dressed up as different birds and told facts about them and also sang songs. 

It was very cute.  Hannalee practiced and practiced her part till she had it down perfectly.  Unfortunately, when it came time to say it in front of everyone, she froze and the teacher had to help her.  But she was cute any way.
