The Things Hannie Says

I have no idea where this girl comes from.  She is the silliest, smartest girl I know.

The other day she was sitting on the couch "reading" to Tayo.  She picked up the book "Llama Llama Mad at Mama" and said, "Let's see how Mama Llama minamalizes the fighting."  (That is her word for word! Where did she learn the word minamlizes?! I couldn't stop laughing.)

Hannie: "How old is Ava?"
Me: "She's two, like Tayo."
Hannie: "She doesn't smell like two."
Me: "Smell like two? What do you mean?"
Hannie: "Her mouth smells like a baby."
Me: "What? Explain."
Hannie: "When she talks, her words are still baby words."
Me: "Oh, you mean she still sound like a baby."
Hannie: "Yes."
