As the Chickens Grow

 It is amazing how fast animals grow.  It has been fun to watch and observe each stage of development.

The kids still love the chickens and the get tortured loved every day.  Here Hannalee is holding Fuzzy and Tayo is holding Hawk.  They are the friendliest chickens (or should I say the easiest to catch).

Our chickens have a mobile home.  We move it each week to a new spot of grass using the 4-wheeler.  It keeps our lawn from dying and the chickens love to eat the new grass.  Some times it is over two weeks before we move it and I always feel I'm sure the grass is dead in that spot and will never come back.  But it does!  And better than the rest of our grass.  You can see where the chicken coop has been because there are large lush rectangles along the edge of our yard.
